When you volunteer for the Lake Placid International Children’s Winter Games 2019, you will be helping to make lasting and memorable experiences for young athletes from 33 cities worldwide.

We have more than 200 volunteer slots for this event, the first ever Children’s Winter Games held in the United States. From field of play volunteers, to hosts, Home Base attendants, and VIP liaisons, there are many opportunities to get involved.

Everyone who volunteers for a minimum of 3 shifts of 4 hours or more per shift will receive branded clothing color-matched and geared to your area of volunteer service.  If you are working long shifts that overlap meal times, we’ll even feed you!

Registering to volunteer

LPICWG 2019 is using a registration system provided by the Volunteer Local website. It is user-friendly and easy to sign up without having to create an “account” as so many other registration systems require. You’ll receive informational emails from Games directors directly from the Volunteer Local site and you’ll be able to go to the site and look at what you’ve signed up for.
